Default Newage FPR fitment

Howdy,

What's a good recommended FPR for a newage STi?

Not changing the rails or anything, so what do I need? Does an FPR come with everything I will need to fit?

Thanks,

Nothing. I want more fuel, without changing the injectors

Not sure but I don't think a uprated FPR will help you there?? The amount of fuelling is ultimately controlled by the ECU and in turn the size of the injector.

Higher fuel pressure from the regulator will allow more fuel to flow through the injectors, obviously I would be having a map tweak to suit.

Unless I'm mistaken?

Gawd knows I'm sure there will be somebody along soon to put us right

I had a Aeromotive one on my old car when I went up to 800cc Sard Injectors. I think it was just to keep the fuel pressure steady

Thanks. That's a fitting kit, so I'm guessing I would also need to buy the regulator too?

Any other alternatives? I would have thought there would be ones that are straight fitment without needing to replace the standard hosing etc?

I assume the state of tune of your engine has maxed out the injectors? If not, there's little point in trying to pump more fuel into it! More fuel alone does not mean more power.

I'm aware that more fuel does not equal more power. Thanks for that.

My injectors are close enough, I run meth. So would rather with my next rounds of mods ensure that I have enough fuel on tap.
