Default Blob Sti remap

My mate brought a Sti blob with 16 k on clock it's mint but its been mapped by power station to 325 bhp with full miltec exhaust sports cat ,k&n panel and a walbro surely it should have more power ? Cheers rob

What do you mean ? I'm asking surely they get more power from a map on a sti blob ?

I got 350bhp on my blob sti but i had full decat maybe sports cat is holding it back for the other 20bhp

And you will only get roughly 350bhp unless you change turbo as i did now 396bhp on a 20g

thats a good return for minimal mods m8. an sti is a good base as the engines and the gearbox are stronger. as peter said more mods ie turbo, ported headers, etc will take you further.

Powerstation are good but always map very conservatively. Agreed Peter about the sports cat

UK or JDM car?
The sports cat flows as much gasses as a decat but will pass roadside emission tests, its probably not tuned to its fullest potential but it doesnt mean there is anything wrong with the map that is on it now.
