slow passenger door window

Question

My94 uk turbo, drivers side & rear door windows operate fine & quickly, except passenger window is really slow going up & down.

Is there a quick fix what can sort this?? Is it a common problem??

Mine almost ground to a halt, so I took it in to the local dealer who "cleaned" it. I don't know exactly what they did, as I only spoke with the girl on the reception but it was a bit better (still slow though).

Is it worth polishing the glass??

There was a thread on a cure for this a while ago, something about dry lube I think put on window rubbers.

yeah
i use graphite powder on the rubbers... was to sort out that annoying whistle coz the glass grabs the rubber...

was suggested by dave ts

works a treat

Solution : cover the window with baby oil (both sides).
