I have fitted a newage intercooler onto my classic uk 99 impreza today. All went well until i mounted the front dump valve meteal pipe on the front of the intercooler, its a different shape and does not match the hole on the intercooler 100%.

I still fitted it on tho and took it for a spin and it seems ok but i wont to get the newage front fixing, anyone knows what its called.Its the alloy pipe thats bolted to the front of the intercooler on the right of the photo that my dump valve is attatached too.
Also does it matter what way round the dump valve faces, and people say you have to match the air scoop tray with the intercooler. I have looked down my air scoop vent and the intercooler is well open with the inner cover, so not sure what people are on about there.

 

Just brought this for the alloy intercooler pipe conector, thought could connect my dump valve pipe to it.
