About to mount a newage sti tmic on my classic impreza -00...do I have to change the scoop and undertray aswell or just the ic?

i think you will need the tray, id be surprised if a scoop of a newage would fit a classic

 

If you go for an STi8 tmic, you will have to get the undertray to match so that the air forced in is equally distributed across the whole surface of the intercooler.

You will have more benefit if you use a STI8 scoop. I believe they make STi8 scoops for the classic fitments as I have one on my P1.
