2 problems-if anyone can help
1/when i stop to park up i select reverse and then when i press the brake- in reverse i hear a clunking noise could this be the pads moving.
2/i sometimes have great difficulty in selecting reverse gear -having to really yank it in or move forwards then try again -is this a scooby trait?[i have fitted a barrier lock would that affect it].cheers

 

All sounds normal to me. I've had a BD on mine for over a year now on a MY00. Reverse has always been a bit iffy (is this a Jap car thing, it was the same on my missus' micra!).

I get the same clunk noise as well. Never been concerned about it though. Not had any problems with it

 

if you have problems with reverse when you stop, go in to netrual, then in to 4th then netrual then reverse, it will work & go in smoothly everytime
