Whts people's views on manifolds
I've sourced new set of equal manifolds are these better than the standard unequal?

What type are they fella? Avoid the ebay cheapo ones they bad news by all acounts

Unless you're spec'd for 400 bhp you'd be much better off with a set of ported standard headers with a venturi up-pipe, both done by Harvey Smith.
With what you have already plus tubular headers, you will have gone way beyond the scope of your ECU, putting your engine at risk as well as the possibility of actually ruining drivability and power. Your first route would be a mappable ECU or additions to the existing unit, as already mentioned, essential for these changes.

I am hoping to get either Simtek or an esl by the end of the month
And I wouldn't change anything else on the car till this is done but as they were offered to me I was querying whether to buy or not

Haven't sorted the rattle it could/hope it's a small heat shield rattle but I'll check it over on the weekend.
