Default 2007 Exedy hyper twin Clutch problem

Hi everyone, any help on this topic would be great!
I have a 2007 STi with the pull type clutch, 6 speed box. Once i had more power i had to replace the clutch so ive fitted a exedy hyper twin plate clutch, new flywheel, pilot bearing & release bearing. 500 miles later the clutch started to slip and i noticed the pedaL was up high, therefore i assuemed it was down to the adjustment, so ive moved the push rod on the pedal so that the biting point is lower. This is all fine and clutch works perfect UNTIL you give it the beans!!! As soon as you do that the clutch pedal goes light and doesn't fully return after being pressed (stops just under halfway). Does this mean i have got air in the system where i have adjusted the push rod or something more serious?? Also i should mention that since changing the pedal the clutch has stopped slipping!!

Thanks in advance
lee

Check if the clutch fork spring is still in place.
