sytec fuel pump question

Default sytec fuel pump question

hi people in need of a bit of help i have upgraded my fuel pump from a
walbro to a sytec fuel pump however on the top of the sytec fuel pump there is 2 wires on show like in the pictures,now are they ok to be in the fuel tank like that,i dont doubt that they are but thought i would ask as 1 wire is red other is black so thought i would ask somebody on here

Yes there the same thing. Id guess the op has upgraded to a universal sytec looking at the connections on his/her pump

the new pump is a lot larger than the walbro i took of,as i was told the rcm walbro
pump that was on there would not be able to cope with 450+ but i could be wrong
but the new pump will as it came of a classic running same kind of figure
