Falken 452's or Toyo Proxes T1-R's?
Hey all,
I'm looking for some new rubber for my car (215/45/17) and am not sure which brand to go for?
I have read that the T1-Rs are best on lighter cars, but have a softer side-wall and wear out quickly.
On the contrast the 452's are good on heavier cars, produce less noise and the sidewalls are stiffer...
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

You could put an extra 1lb of air in each corner, but it won't help that much, and you shouldn't have to do that anyways.
I won't be buying Toyo again, they are not tough enough for my newage.
Can't comment on the other tyres though.
I did like the stiff walls on the Bridgestone Potenza RE070's I had, but I don't think they make them in your size? I may be wrong lol
Having said that, without a shadow of a doubt, the Toyo's offer more comfort, and less road noise over the Bridgestone's.

What would you see as the ultimate tyre for newage STi, regardless of price, what would you choose?

But ultimately R888 are great tyres on the track or on the fast road driving, but not the best in the wet
Goodyear F1 are great from reports,we are tried them and we are been impressed,Yokohama Advan A048 are very similar to the R888 from people reports
