Default Accelerator (throttle)pedal response

Just driven mates classic and his throttle response is amazing. A touch on the accelerator and it responds very well. My 2005 sti doesn't have the same response. How is the best way to achieve more responsive pedal power.
He has uprated clutch and lightened fly wheel. Is the fly wheel the only thing needed or is there more to it? Would a remap make a difference?

A remap will make a noticeable difference mate. In fact it will bring the whole car alive.

i could think of a lot of things you could buy chris. turbo, injectors, clutch, fmic, remap etc etc

like the pringle add says... once you mod, you cant stop ;-)
