Default Is it worth lowering a newage wrx

I'm looking at lowering my wrx but need to know the benefits make it worth doing, have found Apex springs lowering 40mm front 25mm rear on ebay for £112, anyone else fitted them? Would you recommend any other springs? How much should I expect to pay for fitting?

My bug wagon has eibach lowering springs, and they're incredibly uncomfortable compared to the standard set up - I'm seriously considering going back to standard with just an uprated anti roll bar and drop links.

Yes, it looks better, but I seriously doubt that it'd be a "better" car on the road, especially on something like a b-road. On track obviously the lowering springs would be better, but they'd still be crap compared to some good coil overs.

Its worth to consider this, but all depends on the springs,we are run our wagon with the Pi springs which has been great on the B-roads or on the motorway..

Now we are running coilovers and with coilovers is little bit more firmer ride on the B-roads,but track performance is just great
