Default Sti v3 overheating after rebuild 2000 miles done

Hi All, feeling really p***ed as I just spent 2k rebuilding my engine only to find 2000 miles later I may possibly need to do the heads again. I didn't buy cheap parts so can only be down to me letting my mate torque down the heads with the APR bolts. I think I had the right torque setting, but when he was doing it he said if we followed the instructions I had it would snap a bolt. He is a more experienced mechanic than myself so I took he word for it.

Had a problems getting the rocker covers sealed, but sorted that. Then started to overheat. Changed rad, thermo, tank cap. No difference. Took out thermo, no more overheating, but still losing fluid and now it's lumpy. Looked in tank and can clearly see there is air in the system still. Bleed it many times, but just keeps coming back so I can only assume the heads are gone.

Need a good mechanic who can under take this task in B'ham. Any suggestions and prices pls? Oh also got noisy shims/valves, which were quiet then got loud about 2000 miles.
