Does anyone know what are the difference between a shell from an JDM GC1 Impreza 1.5 FWD (1999) and a CG8 STI shell v5.

Can a GC1 shell take all the good parts like engine, gearbox and rear diff of the bigger brother GC8 ?

Well my circuit car was originally a gc3 and everything was swapped over from a version 6 sti.

 

Was the GC3 originally an AWD or FWD ?
