Default vf35 full boost?

Does anyone know roughly when a vf35 should come on full boost.

i have just fitted one to my wrx with a harvey smith up pipe and ported headers and it comes it at around 4000 rpm?

When you say 'full boost' what figure are you seeing?
Have you had the car re-mapped after those changes? If not, you really, really should!

thanks for the reply, what i mean is at what rpm is 0.9 bar boost (which i think is standard boost pressure) i havent had it mapped yet and yes i know i should and i will but have a couple more things to do.
i spoke to engine mapper that says it may not get much lower.

im just trying to find out on a standard sti when the full boost comes in?

you wouldnt be comparing eggs with eggs if you are looking for a std STI spool rate as they have AVCS which helps with spool.

From memory, you should be getting 1bar before 3750 but its been a while since i was in one with guages working.

You really need to get it mapped, and keep it off boost until you do, you run the risk of damaging the engine.

Replaced the TD04 on my hawkeye WRX with a VF35 and Harvey's ported headers and up-pipe and and the boost was only about 100 rpm later coming on, the VF35 is quite quick spooling. The hawk eye has the AVCS, I've had a few other mods since and the mapper was targeting 1.4 max boost, but last map I was getting a bar of boost out of the VF35 at 2600:
