Default Udate from earlier poor dyno results thread

Hi folks,

I have had the intercooler off and have tightened up all of the pipework and i think it has made an improvement,

It has gone from .6/7 bar max up to just shy of 1.0 bar

Does this turbo behaviour look normal?

Hi there

if its not mapped, would say boost is right(maybe little bit inaccurate gauge),because on the normal unmapped WRX you should have around 0.8-1.0bar,if your car will be mapped you should have or see 1.5bar as most on the TD04 and this boost with right parts bring you to 270-280bhp level

As I have posted earlier,it defiantly boosted better after I had tightened everything up, it has the STI intercooler, performance filter and a straight through exhaust, and it feels a lot better but would a boost leak really drop the power by around nearly 40bhp seeing as it got 187 when max boost was around .6/7 bar
