208bhp uk?
Hi my scoobys a UK 2000 on a X reg, Td04 turbo, currently running on 1 bar boost, iv been told this these cars are running at 208bhp standard. abit slow for me like as i wanted abit more grunt.
Should i or can i turn up the boost for example 1.2 bar for more power via boost control? I'm looking to gain figures around 250bhp - 280bhp
do i need to change the turbo? please give ideas cheers lads
also who is the best around the Midlands area to carry out work like this?

215bhp for later 99/00 cars. If you search on here youll see a few threads where people have upped boost on later 99/00 cars running ae800 ecu's without issue as such as they run very rich as std. But if your gonna do it, get the car checked on rollers before doing so, and when increasing incremently. Just dont crank the boost blind

anybody know a decent remap person apart from scooby clinic on here lol?

I may be mistaken but duncan use to/still is a specialist in open source remaps ,and by all accounts is one of the best out there, but you cant use O/S on a 99/00 car as it is ecutek software. You can use Bob Rawle or JGM along with a few other mappers on here for ecutek remapping.
