Hi Guys, completely new to the site so bare with me, its me very first Impreza, its the classic 2000 uk model td05 version,
iv only bought it 2 days ago,
I am looking to upgrade the intercooler into a sti one but not sure which one fits my engine, please can someone explain which one can fit without too much modifications, possibly a bolt on and off job if possible
iv seen some on ebay and have been tempted.

Thats either a 99 or 00 car judging by the intercooler and coilpack location, in that case you have a td04 unless its been changed by previous owner?

Have a look in technical topics archive for upgrade to newage wrx or sti intercooler depending on how much you wanna spend

 

Just get an Sti intercooler from the same year of car, like a P1 intercooler, that's what I did

Hi guys thanks for the reply, sorry I meant its a Td04, yeah its a UK version, so it shouldn't be a problem fitting the P1 Inter cooler from same model year 2000.

Will fit with work but I'd just get a v5/v6 Sti intercooler

 

I will have an sti8 intercooler for sale shortly, holds up to 400 bhp.
