Just gone a similar route. The block I am reliably informed the block is fine to 450. But I am happy with the 400 it is throwing out.

I ran around the 500 mark for a while on my STI8 Type UK, no issues whatsoever, taken it off the road now for the next round of upgrades

STi8 is a 2.0ltr block mate and will happily run 450+ all day long on a road based car.
