Im no expert, but read several times here that panel filters will NOT require a remap...
Demon Tweeks have/had a special for a KnN panel filter, 37 UKP inc international delivery on their ebay site.

Yes this one has been doing the rounds for the last couple of years. Asked this one as I have a 2003 Blob STi with PPP, and in the end went with a K&N filter. NOt noticed any real speed difeerence, but did notice the whoosh sound on the get go was louder with it being fitted (Extra air-flow?), put it this way saving money on having the filter replaced now on each service :-)
