hi guys can you decat a bugeye wrx without a remap ?

 

You can but you won't see the real benefits of doing it until it's mapped

 

But it wont cause cel to come on or go into limp mode

 

Do the de-catting and map at the same time, Ive seen alot of cars with blown engines after de-catting and not mapping them. The CEL will come on and it can cause fueling issues. I'm sure there are loads of People who have de-catting their cars and had no issues but an engine build is expensive compared to a re-map.
Do it right and have peace of mind, oh........and get the extra performance :-)
