Default low speed/slowing down knock.

I have an 03 JDM STI and the last two times i have driven it there is a knocking /clunking from underneath the car at low speed and especially noticeable when slowing to a stop.
It still occurs whether the car is in gear or not and if the clutch is in or out.
Its not an irregular knock and seems to be consistent with the rotation of something and vibrations can be felt through the shifter.
If anyone has any knowledge of this it would be much appreciated!

ive just watched/ listened to some videos of imprezas with big end bearing failure and my car sounds nothing like that, the knocking is much slower and quieter and only happens when the car is in motion.
