Default Hybrid FMIC '03 fitting

Just got a Hybrid FMIC from Harvey for my '03 STi and as I'm not intending to fit it for a couple of weeks, would love to hear from anyone who has fitted one themselves to a Blobeye.
The instruction sheet (and mini disk) shows a Bugeye (shouldn't be too different?) but there are some anomolies between the instructions and what's in my kit - which I've relayed to Harvey so I won't elaborate on here until I get advice from the man himself.
In the mean time, I would love any tips/advice/tales of woe etc from any brave soul who has fitted one.

Cheers JohnD

i had one on my old blob. scoobyworld fitted it for me.it wasnt the easiest to fit if i remember but certainly worked very well.....a good piece of kit...

the only poor part of it is the pipe that leads from the fmic runs underneath the bottom of the car before entering the engine bay if that makes sense.....i caught it once on a security bollard, but never had problems with humps and the likes......

Yes, I think I might get a photographic record of it as I go along. As I said, there are some issues that need to be cleared with Harvey before I go near it with hammer and chisel
In the mean time I'm still hopeful someone will add to this thread.

You have email.
Hammer and chisel. Very unwise and totally unnecessary.
I actually remember Scooby World getting in touch. I think they bought another pipe if I remember rightly.
If the lowest part of the car is the pipe under the engine bed the pipe has not been properly fitted and this is easily resolved as was explained to Scooby World at the time. Having done it once I guess they were happy with the kit as they have bought several more.
John has been given the workshop phone number for specific guidance if he needs it.

I prefer a senger saw for cutting when cutting the metalwork. Made short work on my bugeye when fitting the FMIC.
