uk version 5 swap to jdm version 3
Hi guys , need some expert advice here . We have a 2000 uk forester s turbo with pack on the side of the engine version 5 i think ? the engine is toast , crank gone.
The Question is ....what would have to be done to the car to fit a forester 1997 STB JDM engine (with coil pack in the centre) I have a whole jdm stb donar car for the job .
There are obvious differences like power output 230 bhp etc but subtle ones like the heater controls and dials are different ...just like the 1999 v5/6 impreza.
Any advice much appreciated !
