Right chaps and chapetts,,,

On tickover after about 5 mins i will get a puff of blue smoke when i rev it a tad, On normal driving i dont notice any smoke but it seems not to be making full boost , anything from .6 to .8 bar where as before it was straight to .9.. The car seems to hesitate now on boost where as before it did not,.
The car is a wrx blob with a full decat and high flow filter and a bailys bov (yes i know they are shyte) apart from that its pretty much standard,.

I am swaying towards the turbo dying but what are your thoughts

Im having exactly the same issue with my 2000classic... Mines also the td04l :-(

 

just this minute pulled it off the dyno it was the boost solenoid lol

 

ahh ok i shall get a new one as i wanted a 3port solenoid anyway for easier mapping :-)

 

The smoke i had has gone aswell oh well im a tad happier
