Default How do I convert front entry TD05 to fit top entry classic?

Right guys I'm hoping this is possible, I want to fit a Havery Smith TD05 20G to MY93 WRX. Just sold my original TD05 16G turbo and noticed it has the 90 degree up-swept elbow whereas my 20G does not. Can I just use a silicone hose to get around this? if so can someone point me in the right direction of a decent supplier as have tried googling and come back with nothing.
Also any advice on fitting/priming the turbo would be apreciated.

Cheers

I have looked at Samco fella but the hoses don't look anything like what I think I need. I've got Apexi induction, does the Samco pipe do away with the Apexi soft pipe thats was connected to my old 16G? What about the resonator delete pipe that connects the maf?
Anyone got any pics of one fitted?

Or do I simply fit a 90 degree elbow between the turbo and the apexi pipe?

Exactly as above mate or get some inlet manifold spacers and run you turbo front mounted under the manifold for a tad more response...

Cheers fella, so the induction pipe would run under the manifold with the maf and cone poking out the front somewhere? May just go for the elbow but do I need some sort of a collar in between the elbow and the apexi pipe for the jubilee clips to clamp down tight on?

To do that you'd need the later inlet manifold.

Me I'd go for a rotated setup, or for cost alone a 90 silicone samco pipe.
Its not as if there is much pressure/vacuum there, so doesn`t have to be super heavy duty.

Well I'm hopefully buying a V3 STI RA engine this weekend purely for the heads but I could use the inlet from that with some spacers, I take it doing it that way involves a specific silicone pipe to run under the manifold and connect to the metal apexi pipe?
How does the rotated setup work?

Think the V3 is one you can`t thread the pipe under. Its a later col pack version you need, but a 90 degree inlet pipe will do the job just as well.

Rotated setups move the orientation of the turbo so twist the downpipe to make the inlet to the turbo be something like 45 degrees off straight.
