Idle issues, after changing inlet manifold?
Right then.
I have changed my inlet manifold on my bug wrx to a spec c item. I have used the existing fuel rails and modified the brackets. I've refitted all plugs & pipework etc. All ok so far.
But, when firing up for the first time, it just won't idle, it's very lumpy and then just stops, with what sounds like a big puff of pressure being released from somewhere . If I un plug the maf it starts and idles at just over 2k revs with out any issues and turns off fine without ant odd noises. I have tried changing the maf for one I know works from a mares car but no difference
I'm really stumped on this so if anyone has any ideas I'd be grateful.
Thanks andy.

Yeah I am 90% sure that all holes are accounted for.
I guess I'm just going to have to take it all apart and go through it all with a fine toothed comb. :-(
Anyone know if the injectors can be held in too tight? Not letting fuel through at idle speeds? My modified brackets are a bit snug.

Hey jura, yes it does have CEL which was to be expected. Having emailed Simon he says it shouldn't have idling issues. So may be a missing vac pipe or electrical plug.
Will have to start taking it apart again to try and find it.
Cheers
