I think hose is fairly standard - so a trip to Hallfords may be in order (take the old bit of hose to compare)

Yes - the water does go in there, but carefull you are not sticking it in the power steering resevoir. There is also another filling point on the right hand side of the engine bay usally marked 'coolant'

easiest to just buy the original part from subaru, Its only about £20.

Got a split hose last night. Its the big one i think coming out of the left side of the radiator and going towards the engine. Easy/cheap to replace?


Sorry my mechanical skills could be compared with those of Miss Piggy.

Also the chrome box that sits to the left of the engine, I take it the water goes in here?
