Cheaper to get another hub off a braking car imo

I`ve had my front passenger side done......twice and it`s not expensive. Around £35 for the bearing and the garage charges about a tenner to fit it.

I had a rear one done was about £60 plus fitting. It only lasted 200 miles and failed in a catastrophic way.
Note to self doing a track day is not the way to run in a wheel bearing

It'll need pressing in if it's a bearing or not much point having one in there if either the inner/outer race can move freely

A small 10 tonne press should suffice but it's a faff removing the hub

Got one here taken off for a hub bearing that failed in a way that the hub flange left the carrier, due to the previous owner not torquing up the hub nut. C**T lol
