Hi guys, cars been playing up again all the syptoms of a MAF failure, stuttery, not too smooth and hunting on idle , not majorly bad but certainly enough ! heres wat ive done so far...

* Cleaned MAF sensor and now replaced with brand new Denso one
* Cleaned Air filter
* Cleaned, re-greased dump valve & replace with original re-circulating one
* Put on computer at garage checked MAF & O2 readings and seem fine!
* MOT ! (ha ha)

Any other ideas !!!????

 

have you got your emissions readings ?

 

yeh dunno if this makes sense to u though, oh just to add i had the decat mid section put back on so would pass the emissions, but has been behaving same before and after

fast idle test - engine speed 2500-3500 RPM Manual check PASS
CO ={0.20% 0.03% PASS
HC ={200 ppm 11 ppm PASS

Natural idle test - engine speed 450-1500RPM Manual check PASS
CO ={0.30% 0.01% PASS
