i fitted these to a early classic couple of years ago went in fine got jdm new age seats and my old seat belt fastner got a funny cut out on it stoppin the hole line up for the bolt .what you guys done cheers rob

Not the same problem, but similar:
When I put v6 STi seats in my 98 classic, I found that the seat belt catch just wouldn't latch.
I had to REMOVE the seats again, unbolt the press-catch part off the seat base and put the one off my OLD seats in it's place. Then it worked again.

the press latch doesn t line up with the hole due to a lil metal tab ? but thanks mate

Is it the press latch off the old seat, the one that fits your seatbelt?

If so, grind off the metal tab.

chop saw them off the belt lol fitted now perfect
