Hi lads some help please i got a customer drop me down a 1995 wrx gc8 which is smashed with z4 ecu. its running a tdo5. i think this is an import its showing 240 bhp on the logbook.

he has all so dropped me an import 1993 wrx gc8 with a blown engine but he has sold the turbo with the inlet manifold and the engine harness this was running a tdo4. with a U8 ecu.

The engine from the smashed 1995 WRX is good and running sweet on the z4 ecu and both thing are to be put in the 1993 wrx the engine and the z4 ecu.

the problem am going to have is that the harness connectors are different for the crank and cam sensors along with the co2 sensor the 1993 wrx has a 3 pin connector for the crank sensor and a 3 pin connector for the cam so 6 wires 3 in each connector and a 2 pin connector for the c02 sensor out the car harness. These go on to the connectors which go direct on the crank and cam sensors on the engine.

And on the other hand i got the 1995 wrx which the harness out the car has a 12 pin connector with 8 wires for the crank and cam sensor and the connector on the engine as where this connects to goes in to the engine harness not direct to the 2 crank and cam sensors.

my ? is. Is it better to take the harness OUT the 1995 wrx. So i got the engine z4 ecu and harness coming from the same car. Going in to the 1993 wrx.

or does anyone have a pin out for the connectors for the crank and cams for
for the both cars along with the pin outs for the both ecu z4 ecu on the 1995 and u8 ecu for the 1993.

All so the 1995 wrx has abs and the 1993 wrx doesn’t.
