Hi there I bought a 2006 wrx the other week and took of the bailys dump valve and replaced it with a super sonic since then the car constantly back fires and revs fall below idle car also cuts out at times I have tightend and slackened the valve but I won't make a difference. Any ideas

It's olso running rich it has had a dump valve and a full system de cat exhaust dose it need remapped

If the baileys was a recirculating one and you have changed it to a VTA one then you have upset the fueling in that the ECU thinks X amount of air has been drawn into the engine so gives the appropriate amount of fuel. By the super sonic DV sending some of the air out of the system the fueling is now too rich.

Bin the supersonic, unless you want to pay around 3-600 quid for a remap for it?
