wierd smell

Default wierd smell

Alright guys just came back from a week long holiday went out in the car today its been sat for a week ive been getting sort of a weird burning smell i think its clutch but there is no judder it doesnt slip and engages all gears could my clutch still be knackered

Burning?
It could be oil, it can drip from a cam-cover gasket onto the headers.
It COULD be the cluth, but if it smells, it's likely to be slipping, test it.
Could it be coolant? Leaking heater matrix/rad?

Well I've just had a oil change so It might be that it don't smell like oil though I've tried putting it in 5th and planting it now slip at all looked under the car no signs of any leaks u will probably laugh but the only thing I can relate the smell to is like a garlic smell lol

The car temp guage is normal and I think I'm just gonna have to take it to Subaru lol

My engine smells of hot metal / coolant type of smell... Does not overheat on the temp gauge and drives fine ect, Is defo not the clutch. Got mine booked in at Subaru for a full check over.

Ye it's weird the smell is Deffo coming from the engine
Some where doing my head in cuz it stinks lol

I had similar problem this weekend and it turned out to be cv boot grease burning on the exhaust worth a check mate
