Default Air Con

Hi Guys

Wonder if any of you can help

For the past couple of days ive been having a screeching sound coming from the engine bay whenever i switch the air con on. This is not to dissimilar from the sound the fan belt makes on a car when its on the way out.

Any Ideas?

As usual thanks in advance

Maybe just check the tension to begin with!
Change belt if it looks poor condition, you didn't say in the OP but does it blow cold? i
If not it could need a re-gas, about £70 from an aircon specialist, most visit you at home.

Dont be tempted by cheap offer at "Thick-Fit".....they dont do as good a job, and can if you are unlucky wreck your system! -overfilled mine and blew seals on the pump!
