This is pretty good.

I have a new age STi top mount fitted to my V3 STi. It's a pain in the *** of a job but worth it imo.

PITA.
Why do you want one? What sort of power are you running/going to run?

well I wanted to get a bit more power out of the engine but after reading how to do it,it seems alot of work for not much more power
just had it RR`d and made 296bhp but the ambient temps were 26c so probably over 300bhp.
the cars mods-standard VF23,uprated fuel pump, straight through exhaust, apexi induction kit, apexi FC and commander mapped by JGM,will the intercooler be able to take it if I were to upgrade to a bigger VF and pink injectors?

you dont need it yet but its not that hard to do btw, its just you need to cut the flange off, i did actually do mine without welding for a time , i just put a plate over the part i cut out and used some rivet nuts to bolt the plate to the intercooler and sealed it with sealant, i had to run d/v less, still do actually.
if you went vf34 or 18g i would think about it

Inlet temps will ALWAYS be higher than ambient. When you go on boost the inlet temps fly up to scary heat!!

This is a good thread with some good info.
