how many digits should a wrx 96/97 be is it 6? and will there be any letters in it? i have located 6 numbers should that be it? also where can i referance this number to clarify what the bhp should be for this..... app's for lack of knowledge but am a newbie to this guys

 

hi,the engine numbers arent gonna tell you much about its power output,you need to be looking underneath the passenger footwell carpet and identifying the ecu to see what power output the car was mapped to at the factory.

 

cheers for that, what side of footwell is it at also when there what am i looking for? i mean numbers? letters etc.
