Is it possible to fit a Sti impreza clutch into a 1993 turbo legacy?

Although if you look, a legacy will have a very small recess in the flywheel corresponding to the smaller diameter clutch. Best to machine the flywheel flat before fitting the new clutch, unless it has already been done before.

mine was the same size, and the flywheel was flat.....mines a 1996 n-reg, maybe they changed it or it had an impreza clutch fitted beforehand?
