Hey guys , need advice (again) had my scoob (01 wrx Bugeye) 6 yrs now, had a few MAF sensor, think i need another, shes hunting a bit and not smooth,tried cleaning, better but still not good. i can get original Denso part for £141 but seen them on Ebay for £40 ! i know they are "fake" but come with one yr warrenty. Is it best to stick to the Denso ones because its telling the engine fuel mix etc? would i get poor(er) fuel consumption or could the cheap ones be bad for the engine or is it simple case of work or not !!??? cheers !

 

like anything really i'd imagine you get what you pay for so buy cheap buy twice i'd stick to a original part if it was me

 

It might not be your MAF, do you have a pod filter that could cause it to hunt, and a aftermarket dump valve will as well.
