TURBO 2000 Brakes Squeeling
Afternoon chaps and chapesses,
Right here we go again!#
For a while now my brakes have been squeeling like hell when coming to a stop, really really high pitched squeel, and gets right on my nerves.
I have this morning stripped them down (again) cleaned everything (again) greased up with plenty of copper slip in all the right places, and still it's doing it???
Sounds to me to be more so from the o/s/r.
The brakes work a treat and stops in a straight line, no pulling to one side or any form of juddering, it's just this damn noise that's really pi$$in me off.
I did a friends brakes a couple of weeks back, he had some thin shims between his pads and the pistons, now i don't have these, so could that be the problem?
Thanks for any help or advise

Well had a result
Got some shims yesterday but due to the spot on weather were all having had to wait until today to fit them.
Cleaned every little bit of grease off, fitted shims, small amount of new copper slip in all the right places.............
Silent Braking
Must have been the missing shims, although i'm still stumped as to why they would make such a difference
