Hiya guys,my scoob just failed the mot on emissions.
co 0.8
Everything else is fine,but I've ran the diagnostics and it came up with code 32 lambda sensor.
Is this likely to be the cause of the co reading or is there anything else?

Car is a type r v5 totally standard apart from a cat back system.

Depends how hot the cat was when tested, I have to thrash the **** of my car to get the emissions down for a pass

 

Yes mate,I gave it a good thrashing on the way there and pretty much straight away went on the machine.

 

What mods do u have, if it's de chatted anywhere that won't help but do an ecu full set, then drive it for a good hour then check fault codes, it maybe an old 1 stored, if 32 again get new sensor

 

Hi i had same prob at mot but mine was at 8% no codes came up from ecu. Changed the lamba sensor ( get a good quality i got a blue print ) and flew threw emissions.

 

Thanks guys,it's totally standard apart from a cat back exhaust from scoobyworld.The cat is still in there.
I noticed the code 32 about 6 months ago and reset the ecu which cleared it. Then the other day when it failed the emissions I reset again and noticed the code was back.
I'll order a genuine one tomorrow and keep my fingers crossed.
