Latest brake pad preference?
Was out the country for 3 yrs but had Scoob 'looked after' by a friend - he only crashed it a little bit once.
Anyhow, need new pads again and I'm wondering what the latest thoughts are.
97 Classic with 4pot fronts and standard rears.
I tried Green stuff - shouldn't be allowed they caught fire
Ferrodo DS2500 - OK better than standard but
Pagid 4-2 Blue - brilliant (and expensive) squeaky when not used much and not available for my rear brakes - at least they weren't so I had DS2500s on the rear and balance is not great
I tried to use ECB Blue stuff but supplier was ditched after he had my money so I ended up with Mintex 1155, which seem pretty similar to DS2500s ie OK not great.
What the latest thoughts for fast road use, I loved the initial bite of the Pagids, though - I know some dont.
