Thanks guys these all look really good. It's for a 96STI it will be used on the road but I'm going to do a lot of track days & some sprints too.
Marcevs72 is that just a rear cage & is that more practical than a full one?
Any recommendations where to get one?
Thanks.

mine just rear cage with diagonal when finished.only doing a few track days and hill climbs this year before taking car off the road for full build and full multipoint cage.used cds tubing and had main hoop bent to spec by local firm.only cost about £70 all in to build.will go with custom cages for my full cage.i can put rear seats back in if i need to.stripped everything out including sound deadening and aircon and amazed how much weight has been dropped and you can actually feel a differance in the car.

If going for bolt in then I don't think you can beat the Safety devices one. Its head and shoulders above the other offerings and you don't have to cut the dash.
Dash dodgers are a waste of time so that's the Cusco one out, OMP needs the dash cutting so thats a ball ache.
The only thing is that the safety devices one needs some foot plates welding in but you can remove it in 30 mins if you really need to.
Ironically though Ive just spent the last two days having a full on FIA International Group N weld in done in mine. It's quite alot of work but when thats all painted up it's going to look awesome.

Daz,
Thanks for the advice on safety devices cage, this is the one I was going to get,but Iv been trying to get a recommendation on it. Ironically I didn't see your post & just started another thread for recommendations. Iv made up my mind now, where can I get one, how much should I pay & is it a DIY job or best left to a professional. My car is a 96 STI.
By the way your cage looks awesome, loving your build thread.
