fault code 23 & 33

Default fault code 23 & 33

today i had a little drive in my 93 wrx and the engine light came on codes 23and 33 i just would like to no what the speed sensor does (clocks still working) will this affect the driving of the car. also i started the car without the maf plugged in would this make the engine light come on and store a code thanks

From memory 23 is the MAF, do a ECU reset using the connectors under your dash.
Go for a drive then check your codes to see if they return

When your car is running and you unplugg the maf the engine should turn off it self.
