Default Designing exhaust manifold need help.

This is a bit of a long shot, but does anyone know the number of degrees before Bottom dead centre that the exhaust valve starts to open, on a standard 1997 STI engine ?
Any info greatly appreciated.

How would you do that ? My engine is still in the car so measuring valve lift is not possible.

im guessing here
but there must be specs available for standard cam profiles?

or contact a cam profiler wit your query

as a side note

why the question, with n/a engines valve overlap can play important role in gas movment/flow, but with f/i does it?

or another reason?
