Water Leak

Water Leak
does anybody have any ideas, i have a pretty big water leak on my scooby (EJ20) i can see the water leaking out somewhere around the water pump but i have had that off and put a new gasket on but it made no differance as its still leakin just as bad. looks like the water is coming from between the water pump and the sump somewhere

there is a hole in the water pump called a tell tale hole is it leaking from there ? if so this means its bollo*ed ....

i cant see if its leaking from there, but i cant think of anywhere else it can be leaking from, is that hole behind the pulley?

Can I ask you a question? If you had the timing belt off why didnt you just change the pump aswell?

because i didnt have a pump and where i stay it would take nearly a week to get one so i was just trying it

New pump required. The hole is there for a fail safe when the pump goes.

yes the hole is behind the pulley very hard to see dont forget to order a cambelt at the same time !
