Default Rocker cover gaskets

OK folks, how hard is it really to change these gaskets on an early classic?

I have been told there a bitch to do, but not by any scooby owners as of yet. I have also heard that there easier to do from underneath the car, but not comments as of yet

they are not too bad, id say the drivers side is hardest but it took me chillin a couple of hrs

i did mine from up top, not from underneath

make sure you buy genuine gasket and use a good sealant also

easy enough to do and straight forward, do the job once and get genuine gasket/seals/half moons/bolts.
and use this sealer, once done leave over night ..
DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN BOLTS

I need to do the drivers side one on my classic, figured it would be nearly impossible to get the new gasket to sit in correctly with the engine still in so i was going to have the engine out one weekend and do them.

But maybe it is possible..
