I was giving the new toy a bit of a boot today and when i put the car into 5th, there was a blip, like the car hickuped or something. Only lasted a few split seconds and the car ran fine after that. Does any1 know what cud of caused this?

Thanks mick

My car has done this a few times recently, if i put my foot flat down there is a couple of second pause then a few pops and bangs then it goes. It doesent do it all the time just every now and then.

I thought it was down to my boost gauge (mechanical) so disconnected that and everything was fine for a month or so but it did it agin last week.

Sounds like the same thing as yours is doing as its sort of mid boost.

ok, need to get it to specialist and get it on a dyno find out whats going on and give it a thorough check over, can then diagnose any fault.

Sounds like its having boost issues, which a standard car shouldn't get could point to a sensor fault, try to get it looked at asap and drive it very steady if you have too, pushign it hard with a duff sensor could killt he negine in the worst case.

get it looked at, something def a miss, the pops and bangs sound like its missing, which can damage your engine.
