New to forum with my v6 type r and im hoping that there is a simple solution to my problem, car doesnt seem to pull as hard as it did then when shifting into third it just bogs down hard, its abit annoying realy because it de accelerates that much it almost sticks your head throught the steering wheel,,,, could lack of fuel cause this if the needle is just before petrol light coming on ie pump running dry ? or is there a more likly cause cheers.

 

Sounds like fuel cut due to over boost. Do you have a boost guage. Although its also not ideal to run these cars on under 1/4 of a tank due to fuel surge

 

i do but its not working not had time to look at it, ive only owned the car about 2weeks cud do with avin a look at that also, is this a common cause?,,, seems like im learning as i expected cheers
