i used nitromors ,just mask the seals off , cocktail sticks come in handy to get into the corners and just spend the time getting them clean,
i didnt use a base/clear coat as if/when they get chipped its a pain to match up, so
i used this high temp gloss black and its got a slight tint of metallic but easy to touch up if needed.

They do look very good in black, might have to do that myself and I like the idea of stainless bleed nipples.

Whats the best way to clamp of the brake hoses when using braided lines ??

I think its contrast that looks good, one colour caliper and wheel looks dull really imo,ive got gold and gold atm so fancy a change.

Maydew: you've got just as good a finish as a spray gun mate as its not too big a substrate i think i'll use one myself if they do the right colour bud.

i beliveve so yes and i am very fussy ,no runs and nice smooth finish ,for cans the pressure in them was sound and have no complaints unlike some cans but as you know its all in the prep and spent alot of time cleaning/removing all the old paint .like yourself mate i researched up well before hand.

some use the clear coat to seal the decals in ,again i have no issues 2 years on .
i will try find you close uo pic .
